The Little Brig Sailing Trust operates the world's smallest tall ships to provide the complete tall ship sailing experience to young people aged 10 years upwards. Everyone is welocome especially young people with disabilities and from disadvantaged backgrounds.

For most of our sailing we operate half day sailing trips close to shore within sight of helpers and parents. The trust works closely with Local Authorities, schools, youth groups, and charities to provide sailing opportunities throughout most of the year.

The trust has two vessels, both are traditionally rigged with two masts,
10 sails, and one hundred ropes (more than enough to keep people occupied). They have a steel hull, shallow draft and they are very stable, providing a safe but challenging environment. The vessels are exceptional value for money to operate. Being small, our running costs including insurance, maintenance, and berthing are relatively low. Volunteers carry out a lot of the routine tasks saving on maintenance costs.

The Trust is based on the south coast of England but the boats regulary travel to other parts of the UK including London and Liverpool. The ships are MCA coded and the Trust has full child and vulnerable persons policies in place.
